Armadilhas e atrativos alimentares para captura da mosca-das-frutas ceratitis capitata wiedemann (Diptera: Tephritidae)

Resumo: | The fruit flies (Diptera: Tephritidae) are responsible for great damages to world fruit crops, affecting a large diversity of fruit trees. The objective of this search was to evaluate the efficiency of traps and food attractants in the capture of fruit fly Ceratitis capitata. The search was carried out in laboratory condition and screenhouse ambient at Entomology Sector of Department of Plant Sciences and Environmental Sciences, Center for Agricultural Sciences of Federal University of Paraíba – CCA/UFPB, Areia – PB. The search was divided in two steps, in the first the efficiency of two commercial food attractants Bio Anastrepha® and CeraTrap® in liquid and semisolid forms. In this bioassay the attractants were arranged under screenhouse ambient in traps type bottle fly, where adults of C. capitata were liberated in six different periods to evaluate the attractiveness. In this step evaluations of the attractants quality were realized by the pH analysis and crude protein analysis, as well as evaluations of attractants content loss due to the exposition in the environment. In the second bioassay three traps were made (types Delta, Pet and Circular trap) to be compared to standard trap type McPhail in the capture of adults C. capitata. In the traps were utilized Bio Anastrepha® 5% and CeraTrap® in liquid and semiliquid forms, arranged in screenhouse ambient where adults were liberated to evaluate the efficiency. Data were submitted to analysis of variance and to average tests, F and Scott-Knott for the first bioassay, and Tukey test for second bioassay. The attractants were efficient in the capture of C. capitata, the CeraTrap® liquid presented higher effectiveness during periods of exposition, the capture of females were highest in relation to males. The standard trap type McPhail and alternative trap type Pet were efficient in the capture of fruit fly C. capitata in screenhouse ambient, differing of others. The most indicated attractant to control this insect is CeraTrap® liquid. The alternative trap type Pet can substitute the standard type McPhail in the C. capitata capture. |

O objetivo dessa pesquisa foi avaliar a eficiência de armadilhas e atrativos alimentares na captura da mosca-das-frutas Ceratitis capitata. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida em laboratório e ambiente telado pertencente ao Setor de Entomologia do Departamento de Fitotecnia e Ciências Ambientais do Centro de Ciências Agrárias da Universidade Federal da Paraíba – CCA/UFPB, Areia – PB. A pesquisa foi dividida em duas etapas, na primeira foi avaliada a eficiência de dois atrativos alimentares comerciais, o Bio Anastrepha® e o CeraTrap®, nas formas líquida e semissólida. Nesse ensaio os atrativos foram dispostos sob ambiente telado em armadilhas do tipo frasco caça-mosca, onde foram liberados adultos de C. capitata em seis diferentes períodos para avaliação da atratividade. Nessa etapa foram feitas avaliações da qualidade dos atrativos, através de análise do pH e do conteúdo de proteína bruta, assim como avaliações na perda do conteúdo dos atrativos quando expostos em ambiente. No segundo ensaio confeccionaram-se três tipos de armadilhas (Delta, Pet e armadilha Circular) que foram comparadas com a armadilha padrão do tipo McPhail, na captura de adultos de C. capitata. Nas armadilhas foram utilizados os atrativos alimentares Bio Anastrepha® 5% e CeraTrap® na forma liquida e semissólida, dispostos em ambiente telado onde foram liberados adultos para avaliar sua eficiência. Os dados foram submetidos a análise de variância e a testes de média, F e Scott-Knott, para o primeiro ensaio, e Tukey, para o segundo. Os atrativos foram eficientes na captura de C. capitata, tendo o atrativo líquido CeraTrap® maior efetividade ao longo dos períodos de exposição, a captura foi maior de insetos fêmeas em relação aos machos. A armadilha padrão do tipo McPhail e a armadilha alternativa do tipo Pet foram eficientes na captura de C. capitata em ambiente telado, diferindo das demais armadilhas. O atrativo mais indicado para o controle desse díptero é o CeraTrap® líquido.
