Resumo: The main objective of this thesis is to analyze the manuscript Versos para os pequeninos, written by João Köpke, from Rio de Janeiro, which dates back to the 19th century, but does not have a defined date of creation. The analyzes are based on investigations about the author's creative competence, the artistic aspects of his production, noting his inclination to deal more with playful subjects than with pedagogical ones, a fact that highlights him among other poetry authors of the time. The composition we are dealing with is a compilation of children's poems from which we have chosen four of them as corpus, entitled “O balanço", "O ato ilis", "Meu cavallo" and "Conversas", these that deal with a very perceptible children's perspective, dealing with themes common to the child's universe. We understand that there was a suppression in the author's biographical path, in the sense that it was not clear that he wrote texts of this nature. Some of his faces were shown in previous researches, but another was practically omitted: that of a writer of children's literature, which we will see up close, has aesthetic and semantic value. To reach our objective, we mobilized theories and academic knowledge about the relationship between literature and education in the 19th century, looking at the school space and the prevailing ideologies, reaching the origins of children's literature and research around Köpke, counting, for that , with authors such as Salem (1970), Carvalho (1985), Hilsdorf (2005), Panizzolo (2006), Lajolo and Zilberman (2007), Coelho (2010) and Arroyo (2011), Santos (2013), Mortatti (2015) , and Ferreira (2015). In a second moment, we stop to study the author's biographical path more closely, aiming to understand a little of his trajectory, his inclination to education, as well as knowing some of the works he wrote in the interface of this area with literature. Studies such as those by Hilsdorf (1988), Chicoski (2010), Matta (2011), Panizzolo (2011), Santos (2013), Belo (2014), Mortatti (2015) and Ferreira (2018) contributed to the assembly of this remarkable trajectory. , which caught our attention at first glance. Finally, we mobilize theories about the poetic text, to understand its particularities and, having done that, we enter into comparisons between poems that Köpke created, to compose the manuscript, with those of three other authors of his time, and only then we close the work. with the analysis of the cited corpus. Bosi (1977), Held (1980), Lajolo (1982), Bordini (1991) and Ferreira (2017) directly contributed to the reasoning of this section. For us, in the case of the manuscript, João Köpke's intention is visible in writing texts through which children feel represented, where their experiences are present, without fixed teachings. Therefore, with this research, we redimension the place of this author in studies on literature, resignifying his name and providing means of questioning the erasure that occurs in relation to him in the national literary historiography.

El objetivo principal de esta tesis es analizar el manuscrito Versos para os pequeninos, escrito por João Köpke, de Río de Janeiro, que data del siglo XIX, pero no tiene una fecha definida de creación. Los análisis se basan en investigaciones sobre la competencia creativa del autor, los aspectos artísticos de su producción, notándose su inclinación a tratar más temas lúdicos que pedagógicos, hecho que lo destaca entre otros autores de poesía de la época. La composición que nos ocupa es una recopilación de poemas infantiles de la que hemos escogido cuatro de ellos como corpus, titulados “O balanço", "O ato ilis", "Meu cavallo" y "Conversas", estos que tratan de un tema muy perceptible perspectiva infantil, tratando temas comunes al universo infantil. Entendemos que hubo una supresión en la trayectoria biográfica del autor, en el sentido de que no quedó claro que escribiera textos de esta naturaleza. Algunos de sus rostros fueron mostrados en investigaciones anteriores, pero prácticamente se omitió otro: el de un escritor de literatura infantil, que veremos de cerca, tiene valor estético y semántico. Para alcanzar nuestro objetivo, movilizamos teorías y saberes académicos sobre la relación entre literatura y educación en el siglo XIX, mirando el espacio escolar y las ideologías imperantes, llegando a los orígenes de la literatura infantil y la investigación en torno a Köpke, contando, para ello, con autores como Salem (1970), Carvalho (1985), Hilsdorf (2005), Panizzolo (2006), Lajolo y Zilberman (2007), Coelho (2010) y Arroyo (2011), Santos (2013), Mortatti (2015), y Ferreira (2015). En un segundo momento, nos detenemos a estudiar más de cerca la trayectoria biográfica del autor, con el objetivo de comprender un poco de su trayectoria, su inclinación por la educación, así como conocer algunas de las obras que escribió en la interfaz de esta área con la literatura. Para el montaje de este notable trayectoria., que llamó nuestra atención a primera vista. Finalmente, movilizamos teorías sobre el texto poético, para comprender sus particularidades y, hecho esto, entramos en comparaciones entre poemas que Köpke creó, para componer el manuscrito, con los de otros tres autores de su época, y recién entonces cerramos el trabajo con el análisis del corpus citado. Bosi (1977), Held (1980), Lajolo (1982), Bordini (1991) y Ferreira (2017) contribuyeron directamente al razonamiento de este apartado. Para nosotros, en el caso del manuscrito, la intención de João Köpke es visible al escribir textos a través de los cuales los niños se sienten representados, donde sus vivencias están presentes, sin enseñanzas fijas. Por lo tanto, con esta investigación, redimensionamos el lugar de este autor en los estudios sobre literatura, resignificando su nombre y brindando medios para cuestionar el borramiento que se produce en relación con él en la historiografía literaria nacional.Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESEsta tese tem como objetivo principal analisar o manuscrito Versos para os pequeninos, escrito pelo fluminense João Köpke, que remonta ao século XIX, mas não tem data de criação definida. As análises têm como base investigações acerca da competência criadora do autor, dos aspectos artísticos da sua produção, observando sua inclinação em lidar mais com assuntos lúdicos do que com pedagógicos, fato que o destaca entre outros autores de poesia da época. A composição da qual nos ocupamos é um compilado de poemas infantis de onde escolhemos como corpus quatro deles, intitulados O balanço”, “O ato ilis”, “Meu cavallo” e “Conversas”, estes que lidam com uma perspectiva infantil bem perceptível, tratando de temas comuns ao universo da criança. Entendemos que houve uma supressão no percurso biográfico do autor, no sentido de não ficar claro que ele escrevia textos dessa natureza. Algumas das suas faces foram mostradas em pesquisas anteriores, mas outra foi praticamente omitida: a de escritor de literatura para crianças, esta que veremos de perto que possui valor estético e semântico. Para chegar ao nosso objetivo, mobilizamos teorias e conhecimentos acadêmicos sobre as relações entre literatura e educação no século XIX, olhando para o espaço escolar e as ideologias imperantes, chegando às origens da literatura infantil e às pesquisas em torno de Köpke, contando, para isso, com autores como Salem (1970), Carvalho (1985), Hilsdorf (2005), Panizzolo (2006), Lajolo e Zilberman (2007), Coelho (2010) e Arroyo (2011), Santos (2013), Mortatti (2015), e Ferreira (2015). Em um segundo momento, nos detemos em estudar com mais afinco o percurso biográfico do autor, visando compreender um pouco da sua trajetória, da sua inclinação à educação, bem como conhecemos algumas das obras que escreveu na interface desta área com a literatura. Estudos como os de Hilsdorf (1988), Chicoski (2010), Matta (2011), Panizzolo (2011), Santos (2013), Belo (2014), Mortatti (2015) e Ferreira (2018) contribuíram com a montagem dessa trajetória marcante, que chamou nossa atenção ao primeiro olhar atento. Por fim, mobilizamos teorias a respeito do texto poético, para entender suas particularidades e, feito isso, adentramos a comparações entre poemas que Köpke criou, para compor o manuscrito, com os de mais três autores da sua época, para só depois fecharmos o trabalho com a análise do corpus citado. Bosi (1977), Held (1980), Lajolo (1982), Bordini (1991) e Ferreira (2017) colaboraram diretamente com a fundamentação desta seção. Para nós fica visível, no caso do manuscrito, a intenção de João Köpke em escrever textos através dos quais as crianças se sentissem representadas, onde suas vivências estivessem presentes, sem ensinamentos engessados.
