Resumo: | Flower Therapy and Chinese Medicine are among the therapeutic practices considered by the World Health Organization (WHO) as Traditional and Complementary Medicines, both are recognized by the brazilian Unified Health System (SUS) and are part of the National Policy on Integrative and Complementary Practices of the SUS. Flower Therapy is based on the vitalist model, plus the Spiritual dimension, called “Higher Self” by Edward Bach. The C hinese Medicine has a physiological and anatomical model of the human being, formed by the concepts of the Three Treasures: Qì, Jīng, Shén and working according to the theory of Yīn Yáng and the Five Elements (Wǔ Xíng), in which health and longevity are ac hieved through the human being's state of harmony with the environment that surrounds him and with the universal laws of Dào. This research verified the role of Amazonian Flower Remedies in the Acupuncture Meridians of Chinese Medicine, through the self ap plication of the flower essences of the Emotional Balance formula of the Amazon Flower Remedies System in the points of the Acupuncture Meridians of the body. For this, a phenomenological study was carried out, with the participation of 17 subject users of the Support Center for Students (NAE) of Campus III of the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB). According to the research findings, the self application of flower essences in the body's acupuncture points indicated 6 variables: recursive internal registe rs; importance of the Self observation experience; perception of emotional difficulties; changes in internal aspects and attitudes; emotional balance and connection to spirituality and nature. All dimensions of being that were verified were met: physical, sensory, emotional, mental and spiritual, emphasizing that the acting relationships between flower essences and the Acupuncture Meridians were protected. Research has shown that self application of flower essences to acupuncture points on the body has posi tive effects on individuals' mental and emotional health. The dialogue and interdependence between the standard emotional and mental dimension was evident through the formula of Emotional Balance, based on the subtle anatomy and the cartography of the bein g proposed by Chinese Medicine. The experiences felt that in addition to the processes that happened in the emotional and emotional dimensions, the effect of the practice also reverberated in the other dimensions in a systemic and integrative way. |
