Patrimônio geomorfológico do Pluton Bravo no semiárido paraibano: bases para a geoconservação

The abiotic natural elements support life on Earth, however, still little attention is paid to them when it comes to their maintenance. The present study is characterized as a descriptiveexploratory research, proposing to specifically analyze the geomorphological heritage of Pluton Bravo, a rocky body of magmatic origin existing in the APA of Cariri Paraibano, in order to contribute to geoconservation policies. The geomorphological formations stand out exceptionally in the context of granite reliefs of the Brazilian Semiarid, at which point they will be attributed heritage values. Such singularity can be verified in the important and diverse studies increasingly carried out locally, in the growth of tourism in specific points and in its inclusion in the list of territories eligible to be included in the list of Geoparks of Brazil, by the Brazilian Geological Service (CPRM), linked to the Global Geoparks Network (GGN), in partnership with UNESCO. The attention given by the CPRM concentrates, however, on geological aspects, while the geomorphological heritage is in the background. Were inventoried, characterized and valued six locations considered geomorphosites, using, for such, two different methodologies, which evaluated the aesthetic, intrinsic, additional and use and management values, and subsequently compared with each other. The results obtained confirm that the patrimonial value of the geomorphology of Pluton Bravo has a degree of relevance from medium to high, and the less valued aspects coincide exactly with the conditions of use and management and conservation, justifying the need to improve the active geoconservation strategies.
