Resumo: Coco de Roda is a meeting of people with themselves, making them discover themselves, because Coco has the power of meeting − with others, with education, with politics, with nature, with the idea of cosmos, with cultural matrices, with ancestry. Coco de Roda is an ancestral toy, it is a work song, an intangible heritage, just as the masters of Coco are intangible heritage. And, whoever dances the Coco is called a joker. The present study, MEMORIES OF THE OLD COCO DE RODA: from the processes of resistance in the municipality of Conde-PB to the relations with Popular Education, has as its object of investigation the Coco de Roda in the old meetings of Coco on the beach of Jacumã, hence the denominator of Ancient Coco de Roda, which has roots in quilombola territories. Our main objective is to understand the origin and historical, cultural, social and political contribution of the movement of the Antigo Coco de Roda in the municipality of Conde-PB, observing its processes of resistance and its epistemological relations with principles of Popular Education. The research problem was defined based on the following question: from the origin of the Ancient Coco de Roda in the municipality of Conde-PB, is it possible to explain the resistance processes arising from this cultural expression and its possible connections with popular education? With the methodology of Oral History and Memory, we bring to the debate Bosi (1994), with the importance of memory for society; Meihy (2013), with how to do and how to think about Oral History; with Oliveira (2005), through the perspective of the Revistas da Associação Brasileira de História Oral, and the theoretical framework in Freire (2015), rereading and rewriting the pedagogy of the oppressed as the overcoming of domesticating education by a problematizing/liberating one. Methodologically situated in the precepts of the qualitative research approach, we anchor ourselves in a theoretical-critical perspective from the oral history and the memory in a locus of investigation of many fights and social facts relevant to the history of the municipality of Conde-Paraíba, specifically in four territories: the former quilombos of Gurugi and Ipiranga, the Fishermen's Village of Jacumã and the Dona Antônia rural settlement. For its accomplishment, the subjects of the research are the players of the Antigo Coco de Roda in the municipality of Conde-PB. We conducted interviews for three months, with a semi-structured script, following the use of a recorder; form to identify the profile of the interviewees and document analysis, we made a photographic coverage and used as sources the songs of the coconuts, the photos and the old videos, which refer us to the origin of Coco de Roda in the municipality. Using oral history and memory, we developed a critical analysis based on systematic observation, in order to better interpret the reality of those involved in this research. In general, the results revealed that the Coco de Roda Popular Culture movement was always present in the struggles and achievements of agrarian reform in the surveyed territories, and that, from play to resistance, Coco de Roda remains alive in people's memory, Thus, the thesis defended here is that the Ancient Coco de Roda reflects not only historical processes of popular resistance, but also that there is, in it, an epistemological relationship with principles of Popular Education.

Coco de Roda es un encuentro de las personas consigo mismas, haciéndolas descubrirse a sí mismas, porque Coco tiene el poder de encontrarse con los demás, con la educación, con la política, con la naturaleza, con la idea de cosmos, con las matrices culturales, con la ascendencia. . Coco de Roda es un juguete ancestral, es un canto de trabajo, un patrimonio inmaterial, así como son patrimonio inmaterial los maestros de Coco. Y al que baila la Coco se le llama bromista. El presente estudio, MEMORIAS DEL VIEJO COCO DE RODA: de los procesos de resistencia en el municipio de Conde-PB a las relaciones con la Educación Popular, tiene como objeto de investigación el Coco de Roda en las antiguas reuniones del Coco en la playa. de Jacumã, de ahí el nombre de Antiguo Coco de Roda, que tiene raíces en los territorios quilombolas. Nuestro principal objetivo es comprender el origen y aporte histórico, cultural, social y político del movimiento de Antigo Coco de Roda en el municipio de Conde-PB, observando sus procesos de resistencia y sus relaciones epistemológicas con principios de la Educación Popular. El problema de investigación se definió a partir de la siguiente pregunta: a partir del origen del Antiguo Coco de Roda en el municipio de Conde-PB, ¿es posible explicar los procesos de resistencia surgidos de esta expresión cultural y sus posibles conexiones con la educación popular? Con la metodología de Historia Oral y Memoria, traemos al debate a Bosi (1994), con la importancia de la memoria para la sociedad; Meihy (2013), con cómo hacer y cómo pensar la Historia Oral; con Oliveira (2005), a través de la perspectiva de las Revistas da Associação Brasileira de História Oral, y el referencial teórico en Freire (2015), releyendo y reescribiendo la pedagogía del oprimido como superación de la educación domesticadora por una educación problematizadora/liberadora. Situándonos metodológicamente en los preceptos del enfoque de investigación cualitativa, nos anclamos en una perspectiva teórico-crítica desde la historia oral y la memoria en un locus de investigación de muchas luchas y hechos sociales relevantes para la historia del municipio de Conde-Paraíba, específicamente en cuatro territorios: los antiguos quilombos de Gurugi e Ipiranga, la Aldea de Pescadores de Jacumã y el asentamiento rural Doña Antônia. Para su realización, los sujetos de la investigación son los jugadores del Antigo Coco de Roda en el municipio de Conde-PB. Realizamos entrevistas durante tres meses, con guión semiestructurado, siguiendo el uso de una grabadora; forma de identificar el perfil de los entrevistados y análisis documental, realizamos un reportaje fotográfico y utilizamos como fuentes los cantos de los cocos, las fotos y los videos antiguos, que nos remiten al origen de Coco de Roda en el municipio. Utilizando la historia oral y la memoria, desarrollamos un análisis crítico basado en la observación sistemática, con el fin de interpretar mejor la realidad de los involucrados en esta investigación. En general, los resultados revelaron que el movimiento de Cultura Popular Coco de Roda siempre estuvo presente en las luchas y conquistas de la reforma agraria en los territorios relevados, y que, del juego a la resistencia, Coco de Roda permanece vivo en la memoria de la gente. La tesis aquí defendida es que el Antiguo Coco de Roda refleja no sólo procesos históricos de resistencia popular, sino que hay, en él, una relación epistemológica con principios de la Educación Popular.NenhumaO Coco de Roda é um encontro das pessoas consigo mesmas, fazendo com que estas se descubram, pois, o Coco tem o poder do encontro − com os outros, com a educação, com a política, com a natureza, com a ideia de cosmo, com as matrizes culturais, com a ancestralidade. O Coco de Roda é um brinquedo ancestral, é uma cantoria de trabalho, um patrimônio imaterial, assim como os mestres e mestras do Coco são patrimônios imateriais. E, quem dança o Coco é chamado de brincante. O presente estudo, MEMÓRIAS DO ANTIGO COCO DE RODA: dos processos de resistência no município de Conde-PB às relações com a Educação Popular, tem como objeto de investigação o Coco de Roda nos antigos encontros do Coco na praia de Jacumã, daí o denominarmos de Antigo Coco de Roda, o qual tem raízes em territórios quilombolas. Nosso objetivo central é compreender a origem e contribuição histórica, cultural, social e política do movimento do Antigo Coco de Roda no município de Conde-PB, observando seus processos de resistência e suas relações epistemológicas com princípios da Educação Popular. O problema da pesquisa foi definido tomando por base o seguinte questionamento: a partir da origem do Antigo Coco de Roda do município de Conde-PB é possível explicarmos os processos de resistência advindos dessa expressão cultural e suas possíveis conexões com a educação popular? Com a metodologia da História Oral e Memória, trazemos para o debate Bosi (1994), com a importância da memória para a sociedade; Meihy (2013), com o como fazer e o como pensar a história Oral; com Oliveira (2005), pelo viés das Revistas da Associação Brasileira de História Oral, e, o referencial teórico em Freire (2015), relendo e reescrevendo a pedagogia do oprimido como a superação da educação domesticadora por uma problematizadora/libertadora. Situada metodologicamente nos preceitos da abordagem qualitativa de pesquisa, nos ancoramos em uma perspectiva teórico-crítica a partir da história oral e a memória em um lócus de investigação de muitas lutas e fatos sociais relevantes à história do município de Conde-Paraíba, especificamente em quatro territórios: os antigos quilombos de Gurugi e de Ipiranga, a Vila de Pescadores de Jacumã e o Assentamento rural Dona Antônia. Para a sua realização, os sujeitos da pesquisa são os brincantes do Antigo Coco de Roda no município de Conde-PB. Realizamos entrevistas durante três meses, com roteiro semiestruturado, acompanhando o uso de gravador; formulário para identificação do perfil dos entrevistados e análise documental, fizemos uma cobertura fotográfica e utilizamos como fontes as músicas dos cocos, as fotos e os vídeos antigos, que nos remetem à origem do Coco de Roda no município. Com uso da história oral e memória, desenvolvemos uma análise crítica a partir da observação sistemática, para melhor interpretar a realidade dos envolvidos nessa pesquisa. No geral, os resultados revelaram que o movimento da Cultura Popular do Coco de Roda sempre esteve presente nas lutas e nas conquistas da reforma agrária nos territórios pesquisados, e que, da brincadeira à resistência, o Coco de Roda permanece vivo na memória das pessoas.
