Assédio moral no ambiente de trabalho: estudo com enfermeiros de unidades de pronto atendimento

Resumo: | Introduction: The moral harassment is a type of violence capable of entailing physical and psychic health implications in its victims. This dissertation is composed of two articles. Article 1- Implications of moral harassment in the health of the nursing worker: integrative revision of the literature. Objective: Characterize the publications available in online periodicals about the implications of moral harassment on the health of the nursing worker with emphasis on the approaches addressed. Method: Integrative review of the literature, with samples constituted by 20 publications in Portuguese, English and Spanish, available in national and international databases, in the period from 2000 to 2018. Results: This study evidenced a reduced number of publications about the subject researched. The greater number of studies that composed the sample were performed in the hospital setting with nurses and nursing technicians. According with the approaches, two categories emerged: ―Implications of moral harassment in the psychological health of the nursing worker‖ and ―Implications of moral harassment in the physical health of the nursing worker‖. The main implications presented were: anxiety, fear, depression, stress, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), mental exhaustion, Burnout syndrome, muscular and articular pain, digestive disorders, migraine and headache, bringing emotional, social and family disorders to the nursing worker victim of the harassment. Conclusion: This revision extended the knowledge about the subjective moral harassment and its implications for the nursing worker‘s health, evidencing that this violence occurs frequently in the work environment of the nursing workers, resulting in physical and psychic damages. All things considered, it is suggested that preventive measures be taken to banish this practice in the workplace. Article 2 – Moral harassment in the workplace: study with nurses of emergency care units. Objective: Identify the practice of moral harassment in the workplace from statements of nurses that work in emergency care units; analyze statements of nurses that work in emergency care units about the practice of moral harassment in the workplace in the light of pertinent literature to the theme being studied. Method: Study exploratory with qualitative approach. Collection of data realized by means of the interview technique with semi-structured instrument. A total of 30 nurses that work in emergency care units in the city of João Pessoa, Paraiba – Brazil, participated in the study with the approval of the ethical committee in research. Results: There were relevant elements that characterize the moral harassment like duration and frequency of the aggressions, such as life experiences reports and implications of the moral harassment in the victim‘s health. Psychopathological symptoms were observed as consequences of moral harassment to the health of nurses, such as stress, crying crisis, low self-esteem, depression, sadness and the most prevalent psychosomatic symptoms were insomnia and obesity. Conclusion: Moral harassment situations were identified in the workplace of emergency care unit nurses that caused serious repercussions in the health of nursing workers victims of the practice referred to above. Therefore, there has to be a greater disclosure of this phenomenon, with emphasis on the forms of prevention and coping with this violence. |

Objetivo: Caracterizar las publicaciones disponibles en periódicos en línea acerca de las consecuencias del acoso moral para la salud del trabajador de Enfermería, haciendo hincapié en los enfoques abordados. Método: Revisión integradora de la literatura, con una muestra de 20 publicaciones en portugués, inglés y español, disponibles en bases de datos nacionales e internacionales, entre 2000 y 2018. Resultados: Este estudio señaló que hay un pequeño número de publicaciones sobre el tema investigado. La mayoría de las publicaciones que compusieron la muestra se realizaron en el escenario hospitalario con enfermeros y técnicos de Enfermería. De acuerdo con los enfoques abordados, surgieron dos categorías: ―Consecuencias del acoso moral para la salud psicológica del trabajador de Enfermería‖ y ― Consecuencias del acoso moral para la salud física del profesional de Enfermería‖. Las principales consecuencias presentadas fueron: ansiedad, miedo, depresión, estrés, trastorno de estrés postraumático, agotamiento mental, síndrome de Burnout, dolores musculares y articulares, trastornos digestivos, migraña y cefalea, que causan trastornos emocionales y familiares para el profesional de Enfermería víctima de la práctica del acoso moral. Conclusión: Esta revisión mejoró el conocimiento acerca del tema acoso moral y sus consecuencias para la salud del trabajador de Enfermería, señalando que esta violencia ocurre con frecuencia en el medio laboral de los profesionales de Enfermería y trae daños físicos y psíquicos. Ante lo expuesto anteriormente, se sugiere que se adopten medidas preventivas para prohibir esta práctica en el entorno de trabajo. Artículo 2 – Acoso moral en el entorno de trabajo: estudio con enfermeros de Unidades de Pronta Atención. Objetivos: Identificar la práctica del acoso moral en el entorno de trabajo a partir de testimonios de enfermeros que actúan en Unidades de Pronta Atención; analizar testimonios de enfermeros que actúan en Unidades de Pronta Atención sobre la práctica del acoso moral en el entorno de trabajo a la luz de la literatura pertinente al tema estudiado. Método: Estudio exploratorio con enfoque cualitativo. Recolección de datos realizada mediante la técnica de entrevista con instrumento semiestructurado. El estudio tuvo la participación de 30 enfermeros que actúan en Unidades de Pronta Atención del ayuntamiento de João Pessoa, Paraíba – Brasil. Estudio con aprobación del Comité de Ética en Investigación. Resultados: Se identificaron elementos relevantes que caracterizan el acoso moral, como duración y frecuencia de las agresiones, historias de experiencia y consecuencias del acoso para la salud de las víctimas. Como consecuencias del acoso moral para la salud de los enfermeros, se observaron síntomas psicopatológicos, como estrés, crisis de llanto, baja autoestima, depresión, tristeza; y los psicosomáticos más predominantes fueron insomnio y obesidad. Conclusión: Situaciones de acoso moral fueron identificadas en el 14 entorno de trabajo de enfermeros de Unidades de Pronta Atención, que trajeron efectos severos para la salud del trabajador víctima de dicha práctica. Por lo tanto, es necesario hacer más divulgación de este fenómeno, haciendo hincapié en las formas de prevención y de enfrentamiento de esta violencia.NenhumaIntrodução: O assédio moral é um tipo de violência capaz de acarretar implicações na saúde física e psíquica de suas vítimas. Objetivo: caracterizar as publicações disponibilizadas em periódicos online acerca das implicações do assédio moral na saúde do trabalhador de Enfermagem com ênfase nos enfoques abordados. Método: Revisão integrativa da literatura, com amostra constituída de 20 publicações em português, inglês e espanhol, disponibilizadas em bases de dados nacionais e internacionais, no período de 2000 a 2018. Resultados: Este estudo evidenciou um número reduzido de publicações acerca da temática investigada. A maioria das publicações que compuseram a amostra foi realizada no cenário hospitalar com enfermeiros e técnicos de Enfermagem. De acordo com os enfoques abordados, emergiram duas categorias: ―Implicações do assédio moral na saúde psicológica do trabalhador de Enfermagem‖ e ―Implicações do assédio moral na saúde física do profissional de Enfermagem‖. As principais implicações apresentadas foram: ansiedade, medo, depressão, estresse, transtorno de estresse pós-traumático, esgotamento mental, síndrome de Burnout, dores musculares e articulares, distúrbios digestivos, enxaqueca e cefaleia, que trazem transtornos emocionais e familiares para o profissional de Enfermagem vítima da prática do assédio moral. Conclusão: Esta revisão ampliou o conhecimento acerca do tema assédio moral e suas implicações para a saúde do trabalhador em Enfermagem, evidenciando que essa violência ocorre com frequência no meio laboral dos profissionais de Enfermagem e acarreta danos físicos e psíquicos. Ante o exposto, sugere-se que sejam adotadas medidas preventivas para banir essa prática no ambiente de trabalho. Artigo 2 - Assédio moral no ambiente de trabalho: estudo com enfermeiros de Unidades de Pronto Atendimento. Objetivos: Identificar a prática do assédio moral no ambiente de trabalho a partir de depoimentos de enfermeiros que atuam em Unidades de Pronto Atendimento; analisar depoimentos de enfermeiros que atuam em Unidades de Pronto Atendimento acerca da prática do assédio moral no ambiente de trabalho à luz da literatura pertinente ao tema em estudo. Método: Estudo exploratório com abordagem qualitativa. Coleta de dados realizada por meio da técnica de entrevista com instrumento semiestruturado. Participaram do estudo 30 enfermeiros que atuam em Unidades de Pronto Atendimento do município de João Pessoa, Paraíba - Brasil. Estudo com aprovação do Comitê de Ética em pesquisa. Resultados: Identificaram-se elementos relevantes que caracterizam o assédio moral, como duração e frequência das agressões, relatos de vivência e implicações do assédio na saúde das vítimas. Como consequências do assédio moral para a saúde dos enfermeiros, foram observados sintomas psicopatológicos, como estresse, crise de choro, baixa autoestima, depressão, tristeza; e os psicossomáticos mais prevalentes foram insônia e obesidade. Conclusão: Situações de assédio moral foram identificadas no ambiente de trabalho de enfermeiros de Unidades de Pronto Atendimento, que 11 causaram repercussões graves na saúde do trabalhador vítima da referida prática.
