O uso de aplicativos móveis como ferramenta pedagógica no ensino-aprendizagem de Língua Inglesa

Resumo: The present research has as its main theme the use of mobile applications as a tool in pedagogical English language teaching. For this reason, throughout the research we present a historical review on the teaching of foreign language in Brazil, the implications for the teaching of English language changes in specific legislation and present a panorama of the teaching of English in mainstream schools; moreover, we present the concepts of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), multiliteracy, mobile learning and expose the initiatives for the promotion of this mode of learning in several countries. In an ethnographic perspective and collaborative, the work was developed with students in grades the end of elementary education at located in João Pessoa - PB. In order to introduce this research, we have presented our proposal to students and the Institution pedagogical group of professionals, later, upon the accession of those involved in the research, we conducted an activity in which the students have researched and used mobile applications directed to the teaching of foreign languages. As a result, the results of activities with mobile applications were submitted by the class. In another moment, was drawn up a workshop targeted to students from other classes and parents, having as objective to present a mobile application directed to teaching the English language selected by the class participant. The last step of our investigation was proposed by students and consisted of the use of mobile applications more popular among them, using only the english language to mediate contacts and communication in virtual spaces. The results of this study show the importance of the use of mobile applications, as well as digital technologies in the teaching and learning process of the English language. In this way, we hope with this research which, with the advent of ICT and fostering in discussions around mobile learning, that the classroom is a space of collective constructions of learning shared and service a critical look at what the digital technology has the provision of teaching and learning of English language.

Para isso, ao longo doestudo apresentamos um resgate histórico referente ao ensino de língua estrangeira no Brasil, as implicações no ensino de língua inglesa das mudanças na legislação específica e apresentamos um panorama atual do ensino de língua inglesa nas escolas regulares brasileiras; além disso, apresentamos os conceitos de Tecnologia da Informação e Comunicação (TIC), multiletramentos, mobile learning e expomos as iniciativas de promoção dessa modalidade de aprendizagem em diversos países. Numa perspectiva etnográfica e colaborativa, o trabalho foi desenvolvido com alunos das séries finais do ensino fundamental em uma instituição de ensino da rede estadual localizada em João Pessoa- PB. Para tal, apresentamos nossa proposta de trabalho aos alunos e à equipe gestora desta, posteriormente, mediante a adesão dos envolvidos no estudo, realizamos uma atividade na qual os alunos pesquisaram e utilizaram aplicativos móveis direcionados ao ensino de línguas estrangeiras. Na sequência, os resultados das atividades com os aplicativos móveis foram apresentados pela turma. Em outro momento, foi elaborada uma oficina direcionada aos alunos de outras turmas e aos pais, tendo como objetivo apresentar um aplicativo móvel direcionado ao ensino de língua inglesa selecionado pela turma participante. A última etapa do nosso estudo foi proposta pelos alunos e consistiu no uso de aplicativos móveis mais populares entre eles, utilizando apenas língua inglesa para mediar os contatos e a comunicação nesses espaços virtuais. Os resultados dessa pesquisa mostram a importância do uso dos aplicativos móveis, assim como das tecnologias digitais contemporâneas no processo de ensino e aprendizagem de língua inglesa.
