Resumo: French philosopher Simone Lucie-Ernestine-Marie Bertrand de Beauvoir (1908-1986) is regarded as a mere supporter of Sartre's philosophical ideas. However, it is enough to give a little leaf through one of his novels, for example: The invited or The Blood of Others, which we perceive as they are loaded with philosophical concepts concerning existentialism and, above all, all have moral character. Not only his novels, but his work, in general, has this same thread. Based on these findings, we intend to demonstrate how a moral ambiguity is revealed. Thus we will first analyze the essay Pyrrho and Cineas, in which Beauvoir's attempt to elucidate the motivation of human action is clear. Then, in The Blood of Others, she questions the meaning of life, the role we play in the world, and the impact our actions have on others. Finally, the work that will underlie our investigation For a moral of ambiguity, which addresses the issues surrounding human ambiguity, the starting point of the construction of its moral. Finally, we will show how these notions that were presented in these works are present in the essay The Second Sex.

No entanto, basta darmos uma pequena folheada em um de seus romances, como por exemplo: A Convidada ou O sangue dos outros, que percebemos como os mesmos estão carregados de conceitos filosóficos concernentes ao existencialismo e, principalmente, todos apresentam caráter moral. Não apenas seus romances, mas a sua obra, em geral, apresenta esse mesmo fio condutor. Com base nessas constatações pretendemos demonstrar como se revela uma moral da ambiguidade. Assim analisaremos em um primeiro momento, o ensaio Pirro e Cinéias no qual fica clara a tentativa de Beauvoir de elucidar a motivação da ação humana. Em seguida, em O sangue dos outros, ela questiona sobre o sentido da vida, o papel que ocupamos no mundo e o impacto que nossas ações provocam em outrem. Por fim, a obra que servirá de base à nossa investigação Por uma moral da ambiguidade, que trata das questões que envolvem a ambiguidade humana, o ponto de partida da construção de sua moral.
