Contribuições de educação corporativa na modalidade à distância: um estudo na Universidade Federal da Paraíba

Resumo: | By undertaking efforts with educational actions, organizations show an interest in developing their human talent sunder the reality that knowledge is the driving force of innovation. In such context, this work aimed to analyze the contribution of the open and distance learning (ODL) courses in the organizational performance of the technical-administrative staff in the UFPB. In order to obtain a broader view of the study subjects, a combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches was applied. The research was done in the bibliographic and field forms as the method for data collection and it was classified as exploratory and descriptive as to the purposes. A semi-structured questionnaire with closed and open questions was applied as data collection instrument. The questions were based on the Kirkpatrick model, which works with four levels of evaluation of training programs, that are reaction, learning, behavior and results. Statistical techniques were used with the Shapiro-wilk normality test and the content analysis with the categorization technique as methodological instruments of data analysis. In terms of results, it was evident that there is some normality in the distribution of quantitative data with a lowest standard deviation for the reaction level than found for the result level. It was found that learning and results levels achieved the highest scores. In this way, the interviewed staff presented high concepts regarding satisfaction with the ODL courses. However, some improvements in the process regarding planning, variety, dissemination and schedule of the courses were required. For the virtual environment, these requirements prior training the users in the web tool as well as a better qualification for the teachers on it. Assessing responses, it was clear that this learning action has a positive impact on the improvement of attitudes, the evolution of learning and the behaviour change of the staff. It is clear from the courses taken that the interviewed staff have achieved more attention to the information security, readiness to continuous improvement and adesire to change and to share with colleagues what was acquired. It was also demonstrated an increase in the productivity, the quality of services provided, a greater information security, an improved efficiency of services offered, a cost reduction and a value evolution. Those evidences showed that the ODL courses contributed to the organizational performance of those staff. Therefore, it is expected that this work contributes to improve the corporate education practice adopted by the UFPB, in order to reverberate in the quality of services offered to the society. |

Neste contexto, o objetivo geral desse trabalho foi analisar a contribuição dos cursos de educação à distância (EaD) no desempenho organizacional dos servidores técnicoadministrativos da UFPB. A fim de se obter uma visão mais ampla do objeto de estudo, foi utilizada a combinação das abordagens quanti-qualitativa. Quanto aos meios de coleta de dados, a pesquisa se deu nas formas bibliográfica e de campo, sendo classificada como exploratória e descritiva, quanto aos fins. O instrumento de coleta foi um questionário semiestruturado, com questões fechadas e abertas. As questões foram levantadas com base no modelo de Kirkpatrick, o qual trabalha com quatro níveis de avaliação de programas de treinamentos: reação, aprendizagem, comportamento e resultados. Foram utilizadas técnicas estatísticas com a utilização do teste de normalidade Shapiro-wilk e a análise de conteúdo com a técnica de categorização, como instrumentos metodológicos de análise dos dados. No que se refere aos resultados, ficou evidente que existe normalidade na distribuição dos dados quantitativos, com um menor desvio padrão para o nível reação e um maior para o nível resultado. Verificou-se que foram nos níveis aprendizagem e resultados que se obtiveram os maiores escores. Desta forma, os servidores apresentaram conceitos elevados no que se refere a satisfação com os cursos EaD. No entanto, sugerem que haja melhorias no processo com relação ao planejamento, variedade, divulgação e cronograma dos cursos. Quanto ao ambiente virtual, estes solicitam um treinamento prévio para utilização da ferramenta e uma melhor capacitação dos professores. Em virtude das respostas analisadas, ficou claro que essa ação de aprendizagem repercute no aprimoramento das atitudes, na evolução da aprendizagem e na mudança de comportamento dos servidores. Ainda, a partir dos cursos realizados, foi constatado que os colaboradores passaram a ter uma maior atenção com relação a segurança da informação, disponibilidade para um contínuo aperfeiçoamento, desejo de mudança e de compartilhar com os colegas o que foi adquirido. Ficou evidente que tais cursos contribuem com o desempenho organizacional, pois foi demonstrado o aumento da produtividade, da qualidade dos serviços prestados, uma maior segurança da informação, a melhoria da eficácia, a redução de custos e a evolução dos valores.
