Resumo: Cold-formed steel profiles are a light and economic structural solution. They usually have high slenderness and are under buckling modes that can reduce their resistance. They often have perforations to fit connections or installations, that may potentialize the resistance reduction. As a solution, stiffeners in holes borders can be used. This work analyzes stiffened perforations effects in channel columns under local and distortional buckling by Finite Element analysis. It was observed that stiffened perforations increased the columns under local buckling resistance, and the perforations diameter and stiffener length have remarkable influence in analyzed columns.
