Preliminary Risk Analysis for Execution Activity of External Natural Gas Network – Case Study

Resumo: | The application of the Preliminary Risk Analysis - APR and the Hazard Rating Number-HRN, a necessary tool for risk management, in gas infrastructure works, is still neglected by the companies that perform this type of work. In this sense, the objective of this study is to carry out a risk analysis in a work of execution of a natural gas network developed in the municipality of Paulista, state of Pernambuco. The methodology consisted of identifying risks, evaluating and proposing control measures through the application of the APR and the HRN. With the application of the method, the risks, their causes and consequences were identified, which were later analyzed regarding their degrees of severity, probability of occurrence of the owner, frequency of exposure and number of people exposed. Through the results obtained, it is verified that all the mechanical and ergonomic riches were classified as "high", and among these, the ones that presented the highest values are those of trampling and explosion, because they have greater numbers of exposed people and a high degree of exposure. of severity. Finally, it was noticed that this type of work is subject to work accidents that can be circumvented by adopting relatively simple measures, such as signaling work, training and using PPE. In this context, the application of such tools proved to be important in the risk management process, and if, in fact, it is applied correctly, it can contribute to reducing the number of work accidents in gas network works. |

Neste sentido, o objetivo deste estudo visa realizar a análise de riscos em uma obra de execução de rede de gás natural desenvolvida no município de Paulista, estado de Pernambuco. A metodologia consistiu na identificação dos riscos, avaliação e proposta de medidas de controle através da aplicação da APR e do HRN. Com a aplicação do método, foram identificados os riscos, suas causas e consequências, os quais foram, posteriormente, analisados quanto aos seus graus de severidade, probabilidade de ocorrência do dono, frequência de exposição e número de pessoas expostas. Através dos resultados obtidos, verifica-se que todos os ricos mecânicos e ergonômico foram classificados como “alto”, e entres estes, os que apresentaram maiores valores, estão os de atropelamento e de explosão, por possuírem maiores números de pessoas expostas e alto grau de severidade. Por fim, percebeu-se que esse tipo de obra está sujeito a acidentes de trabalho que podem ser contornados a partir da adoção de medidas relativamente simples, tais como a sinalização de obra, treinamentos e usos de EPI’s.
