The Blue Ocean Tool as an inovation and creativity strategy at Sanhaçu Sugar Mill

Resumo: The market environment is becoming more and more demanding and variable, requiring an increasing commitment from organizations in terms of market differentiation. This study has as main goal, to understand the creative and innovative development from the Sanhaçu Sugar Mill, with the Blue Ocean techniques, and as secondary objectives: to recognise the importance of the strategic management tools; signalling the benefits from the Blue Ocean Strategy in the search or differentiation for new markets, and guide the techniques addressed by the Blue Ocean Strategy, with the management employed by Sanhaçu Sugar Mill. The methodology used had a descriptive and exploratory with qualitative research approach, having as main study the Sanhaçu Sugar Mill, as well as making interviews, through a semi-structured form. Thus, organizations that equip themselves with tools and techniques to develop innovation and creativity will always be one step ahead of the competition.

Este estudo tem como principal objetivo, compreender o desenvolvimento criativo e inventivo do Engenho Sanhaçu com as técnicas do Oceano Azul e como objetivos secundários: reconhecer a importância das ferramentas da gestão estratégica; sinalizar os benefícios da Estratégia do Oceano Azul na busca ou diferenciação por novos mercados e pautar as técnicas abordadas pela Estratégia do Oceano Azul, com a gestão empregada pelo Engenho Sanhaçu. A metodologia utilizada teve uma abordagem descritiva e exploratória com pesquisa qualitativa, tendo como objeto de estudo o Engenho Sanhaçu, foi, também, realizado entrevista, mediante formulário semiestruturado.
