SOCIALIZATION OF KNOWLEDGE IN EDUCATION: THE TEACHING OF PREHISTORY IN THE EARLY YEARS OF FORMAL EDUCATION

Resumo: The paper proposes a new reflection on the socialization of Pre-Historic studies since the early school years, focusing the relevance of such knowledge as praxis in child education. The contributes of Prehistory to elementary school students are discussed and a brief analysis of the education system’s history is made, defining pedagogy and didactics as pivotal trends of the formal education system’s practices. It concludes with the enumeration of relevant factors for the study of Prehistory as principle and fundament for the understanding of our species.

Discute os contributos da Pré-História para os alunos do 1º ciclo (fundamental) e faz um breve histórico sobre o sistema educativo definindo a pedagogia e a didática como viés articulador das práticas do sistema de ensino formal.
