Este trabalho é uma reflexão crítica relativa a alguns problemas gerados pela investigação Pré-histórica. Com ele, pretende-se contribuir a sua crítica epistemológica e metodológica, fundamentalmente, ao problemas do "status" da Pré-história em relação a uma ciência que, tradicionalmente, a ela se associa: a História. O problema é ainda sumamente importante no Brasil, onde a Pré-História não conseguiu constituir-se numa disciplina autônoma, pois a malária dos trabalhos ainda não atingiu nível razoável de autenticidade, o que vale dizer, não são assentados sabre elaboração sistemática de dados com metodologia estabelecida, fixa e constante.This paper is a critical reflection on some problems generated by Prehistoric research. With it, we intend to contribute his epistemological and methodological critique, fundamentally, to the problems of the "status" of Prehistory in relation to a science that is traditionally associated with it: History.
