Este estudo tem como objetivo geral identificar os aspectos da liderança criativa e, a partir deles, compreender como ela é exercida em um contexto de criatividade. Materiais foram coletados por meio de pesquisa documental e entrevistas semiestruturadas, formando o corpus necessário. A análise de conteúdo possibilitou a identificação de dezenove aspectos que permeiam as características individuais do líder criativo, suas práticas e o relacionamento com sua equipe. Pensamento criativo, visão empreendedora, criação de estruturas internas benignas, abertura a novas ideias, liberdade e cooperação demonstraram estar presentes em todos os investigados. Já background multidimensional e ser networker não asseveraram ser vitais no seu exercício. Foi possível constatar que a liderança criativa assume diferentes abordagens a partir do contexto em que está inserida e que a mesma demonstra emergir da interação entre líder, equipe e contexto. Quando um dos elementos desta tríade é modificado, ela se modifica também. Fez-se claro que não existe um conceito universal da mesma, devido à variabilidade do contexto da criatividade. A teoria da estruturação trouxe robustez a este estudo ao analisar as condições que regem a continuidade ou transformação das estruturas, evidenciando o papel do líder criativo na mudança de práticas rotinizadas. Trata-se de uma nova configuração de líder adequado a este contexto dinâmico da inovação.CAPESThe importance of leadership in the creative process is justified when considering that creativity is not only about a time of the moment, but about creating the conditions for this moment to materialize into creative ideas that can be implemented with added value. This study aims to identify the aspects of creative leadership and, from them, to understand how it is carried out in a context of creativity. Materials were collected through documentary research and semi-structured interviews, forming the necessary corpus. Content analysis enabled the identification of nineteen aspects that permeate the individual characteristics of the creative leader, his practices and the relationship with team. Creative thinking, entrepreneurial vision, creation of benign internal structures, openness to new ideas, freedom and cooperation have been presented in all investigated. However, multidimensional background and being networker have not claimed to be vital in its exercise. It was possible to verify that the creative leadership assumes different approaches from the context in which it is inserted and that it emerges from the interaction between leader, team and context. When one of the elements of this triad is modified, it changes as well. It has become clear that there is no universal concept of it, due to the variability of the context of creativity. Structuration theory has brought robustness to this study by analyzing the conditions governing the continuity or transformation of structures, evidencing the role of the creative leader in changing routine practices.
