In the case of dairy agribusiness chain of Rio Grande do Sul, the synthesis of the research problem that we are trying to elucidate in this study refers to: the difficulty of managing a milk processing plant in Agrarian Reform Settlement Conquest of Freedom. Thus, we are monitoring the management of the unit; besides improved it, identifying and correcting any distortions, and communication with other members, accountable for the progress management. Therefore, the objective of this study was to evaluate the management of a milk processing plant on a land reform settlement. Was created, then a model that evaluated the management above. In that model, the ordering of preference, the criterion was quality first, highlighting the quality of the raw material. To raise the cooperative data related to this, there was obtained the number of tests performed in milk (raw material) in addition to the required tests. The result is that the only cooperative testing is required in addition to the more or less once a month, so this aspect, with a value well below the neutral scale. Therefore, to improve the quality of the raw material were detected three potential actions: 1 - increase the frequency of testing; 2 - the cooperative has its own laboratory and 3-prevention, including guidance to producers.
