Resumo: A inovação obtida com o presente estudo se dá na área de análise do direito social de proteção da infância no município de Pelotas, em especial por analisar dados quantitativos (número de crianças em busca de vagas) e qualitativos (qual a categoria socioeconômica deste grupo).
