Resumo: This paper aims to bring a theoretical discussion from cultural and decolonial point of view and some results from the research on narratives of migrants that live in Brazil, using discursive excerpts analyzed by means of French Discourse Analysis device. It is a discursive and interpretive study which searches for some elements that constitute the migrant identity in a space between languages and cultures, considering the representations they produce of themselves and of the other (the Brazilians), which emerge from their narrative. Therefore, this discussion intends to contribute to language, identity and subjectivity studies, taking into account the vulnerable migration context in which most of the incoming foreigners live.. The “newcomers” search for ways of being subjects and resisting in a context where they are not always welcome, since the Brazilians can be hostile and represent them as strangers or invaders

É um trabalho de caráter discursivo e interpretativo, o qual busca e discute indícios sobre os processos identitários dos migrantes num espaço entre línguas e entre culturas, a partir das representações de si e do outro (brasileiro), que emergem em seus dizeres. Dessa forma, este estudo pretende contribuir para os estudos da linguagem, identidade e modos de subjetivação, a partir do contexto de migração, no qual a maioria dos estrangeiros ingressantes se encontra em situação de vulnerabilidade.
