Resumo: | The general objective of this article is to propose an initial theoretical articulation between socio-discursive interactionism (ISD) and neuroscience studies, particularly from the work of the scientist António Damásio. Specifically, we will show this theoretical articulation in the analysis of oral texts produced in the academic master’s degree, in order to understand the possible relations between these texts, the emotions and the construction of scientific thought. Anchored in the ISD, we cover the basic concepts of the theory, coming from both Espinosa’s philosophy and vigotskian Social interactionism, highlighting the similarities with the conceptualizations about emotions and thought of neuroscientist António Damásio. The oral texts analyzed, excerpts from oral intermediate examination and defence examination, were collected in a doctoral research, from the transcriptions of the moments of oral interaction of three master’s students in the field of languages and linguistic. The excerpts were examined through the category of discursive types of ISD. The analyses show that the tension inherent to the oral interactions activate the "background emotions", which direct the mind to evoke a scientific thought under construction in memory, according to the associations and comparisons carried out by the master students about the data of their researches. These associations are generally referred to as generic and comparative linguistic expressions. |
