Resumo: This article aims to demonstrate through a historical perspective that the neurophysiological and expressive study of emotions emerges as an important vector of facilitation of the dialog between theater and live being sciences. Also part of this work is the exploration of certain neuroscientific concepts currently used in experimental researches of the human emotions, as well as a reflection about possible connections between neuroscience of emotions and the actor’s work.

Font également partie de ce travail l’exploration de certains concepts euroscientifiques actuellement utilisés dans la recherche expérimentale sur les émotions humaines, ainsi que la réflexion sur les liens possibles entre la neuroscience des émotions et le travail de l’acteur.Este artigo objetiva demonstrar, através de uma perspectiva histórica, que o estudo neurofisiológico e expressivo das emoções transparece como um importante vetor facilitador do diálogo entre o teatro e as ciências dos seres vivos. Também faz parte deste trabalho a exploração de alguns conceitos neurocientíficos atualmente utilizados em pesquisas experimentais sobre as emoções humanas, assim como a reflexão acerca das possíveis articulações entre a neurociência das emoções e o trabalho do ator.
