USING HOMEOPATHY ASSOCIATED TO OTHER THERAPIES FOR CHRONIC DISEASES TREATMENT

Resumo: Commonly Homeopathy’s been used in association with other therapies. This study aimed to identifytherapies used in association with homeopathy for chronic diseases, and to know about the patient’s credibility in thistreatment. Qualitative research and exploratory study with 16 chronic diseases patients in homeopathic treatment associatedwith other therapies. Results reveal that osteoarticular problems and allergies were predominant pathologies in treatment,and the dissatisfaction with allopathic medicines was the first reason to look for homeopathic treatment. However, allopathicmedicines were predominant in association with homeopathy, and the majority of the patients relate this kind of treatmentas positive. Thus, this study evidence homeopathic treatment associated to other therapies makes a better holisticapproach possible, because results better patients’ satisfaction.

O objetivo deste estudo foi identificaras terapias utilizadas em associação à homeopatia, e conhecer a credibilidade do usuário nesse tratamento. Estudo deabordagem qualitativa com 16 pacientes com doenças crônicas em tratamento homeopático associado a outra terapia. Osresultados mostram problemas osteoarticulares e alérgicos como predominantes e, o principal motivo para procurar ahomeopatia foi a insatisfação com a alopatia. Entretanto a alopatia foi a terapia predominante em associação à homeopatia,e a maioria considerou os resultados do tratamento em conjunto positivos. O estudo evidenciou que o tratamentohomeopático associado a outras terapias possibilita melhor abordagem holística e confere maior satisfação ao cliente.La Homeopatía es comúnmente utilizada simultáneamente con otras terapias. El objetivo de este estudio fueidentificar las terapias utilizadas en asociación con la homeopatía, y conocer la credibilidad del usuario en este tratamiento.Estudio de abordaje cualitativo con 16 pacientes portadores de enfermedades crónicas en tratamiento homeopáticoasociado a otra terapia. Los resultados revelan problemas osteoarticulares y alérgicos como predominantes y, el principalmotivo para recurrir a la homeopatía fue la insatisfacción con la alopatía. Sin embargo, la alopatía fue la terapia predominanteen asociación a la homeopatía, y la mayoría consideró los resultados del tratamiento en conjunto positivos.
