Resumo: This s tudy a ims t o i nvestigate s tudies o ninformation system in health used by the BrazilianUnified Health System and to point out the difficulties inits applicability. This is an integrative review conductedthrough an online bibliographic search of the scientificproduction from 2009 to 2013. The articles that composedthe corpus analysis revealed the need to develop systemsfor public access and usage by using tools able to offerconsistent data and contribute to the optimization ofsupport management provided by the National UnifiedHealth System.

Es unarevisión integrativa efectuada por medio de una búsquedabibliográfica online de las producciones científicas, enel periodo de 2009 a 2013. Los artículos que hicieronparte del corpus de análisis evidencían la necesidad dedesarrollar sistemas disponibles para acceso y uso alpúblico, con herramientas que ofrecen datos consistentespara contribuir para otimizar la gestión asistencial prestadapor el Sistema Único de Salud.O presente estudo objetiva investigar pesquisas realizadas sobre o sistema de informação emsaúde utilizado pelo Sistema Único de Saúde e apontar as dificuldades de sua aplicabilidade. Trata-se de umarevisão integrativa efetuada por meio de uma busca bibliográfica online das produções científicas, no períodode 2009 a 2013.
