In the case of planar transistors, the influence on their performance of a layer of PVA and PMMA added at the interface between the P3HT/ion gel was investigated. In addition, the behavior of transistors operating under two diff, erent voltage ranges applied to the gate was investigated, called low VGS (0.2 V to -0.6 V) and high VGS (0.2 V to -1,1 V). Regarding the transistors in the vertical architecture, the influence of permeable intermediate electrodes of tin (Sn) or silver nanowires (AgNW) in their performance was investigated. In addition, the morphological characteristics of Sn electrodes grown by thermal evaporation on the glass substrate and on the PBT film were investigated by SEM images. The behavior of the current through the PBT film carried out on the diode cells of the vertical transistors in the configurations of ITO/ PBT/Sn and ITO/PBT/AgNW was also investigated through I-V curves. These I-V measurements, in addition to providing information on the current behavior through the PBT, contributed to a bettier understanding in relation to the operation mode of the transistors. The electrical characterizations of the electrolyte organic transistors were performed by transfer curves (IDS x VGS) and output characteristic curves (IDS x VDS).
