Para isso, foram estudados conceitos de turismo moderno e contemporâneo, turismo de massa, segmentação, tendências, turismo de experiência e dark tourism. Por meio desse estudo bibliográfico, foi possível apontar as diversas tipologias de dark tourism e as características dos atrativos já trabalhados dentro deste segmento. Através de uma pesquisa qualitativa e descritiva e partindo da análise de dados, foi possível identificar o perfil do público interessado no segmento, sendo este em sua maior parte feminino, entre 18 e 29 anos e que já visitou algum atrativo que se enquadra dentro do segmento. Foi verificado também o maior interesse dos respondentes por atrativos que envolvam temas de guerra, apesar da notável variedade de tipologias e considerado que todas foram escolhidas em algum momento da pesquisa. A partir dessas conclusões, foi proposto um roteiro dark tourism para a cidade de Curitiba, de acordo com as preferências do público-alvo analisado.Abstract : The study aimed to analyze the viability of implementing a dark tourism tour in the city of Curitiba - PR, identifying the market, the main features and segment routes in Brazil and worldwide. For this, were studied concepts as modern and contemporary tourism, mass tourism, segmentation, trends, experience tourism and dark tourism. Through the bibliographical study, it was possible to identify various types of dark tourism and the characteristics of the attractions already developed within this segment. Through a qualitative and descriptive search and based on the data analysis, it was possible to identify the public profile interested in the segment, which is mostly feminine, between 18 and 29 years and have already visited some attractive that fits within the segment. It was also verified the greater interest of respondents by attractives involving war themes, despite the remarkable variety of types and considering that all were chosen at some point of the research. Through these conclusions, it was proposed a dark tourism tour to the city of Curitiba, according to the preferences of the analyzed target audience.75 p. : il.
