A geoestatística parte do pressuposto que unidades amostrais mais próximas no espaço geográfico são mais semelhantes, possibilitando o estudo da dependência espacial das variáveis dendrométricas. Para o gênero Pinus, os desbastes têm sido um dos tratamentos silviculturais mais importantes, devido a influência no crescimento e produção da floresta, incrementando as dimensões das árvores, vigor e qualidade. A área do presente estudo trata-se de um projeto silvicultural da espécie Pinus taeda L. com 145,3 ha, implantado no ano de 2002, com espaçamento de 3 m x 2,5 m. Neste projeto, foi realizado um primeiro desbaste misto aos 9 anos, no qual a densidade de indivíduos foi reduzida em 50% e um segundo desbaste seletivo aos 14 anos, retirando 50% dos indivíduos remanescentes. Os dados foram coletados no ano de 2020, sendo mensuradas 30 unidades amostrais em campo com formato circular e área de 600 m². Para estimativa dos sortimentos, foi feita a cubagem rigorosa de 30 árvores. Foram testados seis modelos de relação altura-diâmetro, sendo os modelos de Stoffels, Trorey, Curtis, Campos e Leite, Azevedo e Henriksen. Para a estimativa dos sortimentos, foi utilizado o Polinômio de 5° Grau. Com os resultados de cada unidade amostral, foram calculadas as semivariâncias, com objetivo de verificar a dependência espacial das variáveis analisadas. O volume comercial e os sortimentos apresentaram dependência espacial, com isso, é possível a modelagem geoestatística do volume comercial e sortimentos de Pinus taeda. O mapeamento espacial dos sortimentos permite o melhor planejamento das atividades de colheita, com maior exatidão da localização geográfica de maiores volumes, possibilitando menor alocação de recursos financeiros e humanos para atendimento de demandas do mercado.Abstract : Brazil has one of the largest areas of planted forests in the world, totaling nine million hectares in 2019, with 6.97 million/ha of Eucalyptus spp., 1.64 million/ha of Pinus spp. and 0.39 million/ha with other genera, it is necessary to use tools to increase the accuracy of the results, providing the best conditions for planning forest resource management activities. Geostatistics assumes that sampling units closer in geographic space are more similar, enabling the study of spatial dependence of tree variables. For Pinus genus, thinning has been one of the most important forestry treatments, due to its influence on forest production growth, increasing tree dimensions, vigor, and quality. The area of this study has the silvicultural project of Pinus taeda L. with 145.3 ha implemented in 2002, with spacing of 3 m x 2.5 m. In this project, a first mixed thinning was carried out at 9 years old, removing 50% of total density, and a second selective thinning at 14 years old, removing 50% of total density. Data were collected in 2020, measuring 30 sample units in a circular-shaped field and an area of 600 m². To estimate the assortments, 30 trees were scaling. Six models of height-diameter relationship were tested, being the models of Stoffels, Trorey, Curtis, Campos and Leite, Azevedo, and Henriksen. 5th Degree Polynomial was used for estimating assortments. With the results of each sampling unit, semivariances were calculated to verify the spatial dependence of analyzed variables. The commercial volume and assortments analyzed showed spatial dependence, thus, it is possible to geostatistical modeling the commercial volume and assortments of Pinus taeda.
