Defesa : Curitiba, 11/04/2018Inclui referências: p.98-101Resumo: Esta pesquisa consiste na análise musical das peças Variations pour Guitare (1970) e Central Guitar (1973), de Egberto Gismonti, por meio da intertextualidade. Paralelamente à análise, busca-se compreender o contexto musical e social no qual o compositor estava inserido na primeira metade da década de 1970, assim como, de que forma o meio contribuiu para a construção deste repertório. Além da alusão a figurações da música brasileira, investiga-se possíveis influências de elementos motívicos, citações, paródias, paráfrases e idiomatismos de compositores do século XX. A metodologia utilizada está apoiada na análise das partituras, audição de gravações das peças, artigos publicados na internet e entrevistas concedidas por Gismonti. A análise musical é desenvolvida com base na associação da intertextualidade com conceitos da teoria dos gestos, tópicas e contornos musicais. Palavras-chave: Egberto Gismonti. Análise Musical. Intertextualidade na música.Abstract: This research consists of a musical analysis of Egberto Gismonti's Variations pour Guitare and Central Guitar, through intertextuality. Furthermore, it is sought to understand the musical and social context in which the composer was living in the first half of the 1970s, as well as how these factors contributed to the construction of this repertoire. In addition to the reference to Brazilian music, we observe possible influences of motivic elements, citations, parodies, paraphrases and idioms of composers of twentieth century. The methodology used is based on the analysis of scores, listening to the recordings of pieces, articles published on the internet and interviews given by Gismonti. The musical analysis developed is based on the association of intertextuality with concepts of the theory of gestures, topics and musical contour. Keywords: Egberto Gismonti. Musical analysis.
