Defesa: Curitiba, 26/02/2016Inclui referências : f. 65-71Resumo: A recuperação florestal é ação essencial na mitigação de danos causados pela degradação da vegetação e solo às margens dos cursos d'água e nascentes. Dessa forma, atentar ao histórico da área, buscando determinar o tipo, bem como o quão intensa foi a degradação sofrida, além do tipo de solo da área, são análises que determinarão a adoção de metodologias distintas desde o pré-preparo da área, passando pelo plantio, condução e até o monitoramento. Tendo em vista a degradação das margens fluviais, decretadas como Áreas de Preservação Permanente (APP) pela Lei nº 12.651/12, de nascentes intermitentes, e também seus papéis cruciais na regulação e manutenção de processos hídricos, justifica-se a necessidade de pesquisas que abordem uma visão de recuperação sistêmica pedológica - hídrica - fitotípica destes ambientes. Este trabalho, que descreve um subprojeto do "Projeto Biomas" da Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária (Embrapa), traz a lume resultados que auxiliam na escolha e alocação de espécies arbóreas nativas da Floresta Estacional Semidecidual - localizada na Mata Atlântica, para recuperar formações florestais sobre Argissolos e Espodossolos da Formação Barreiras em Linhares/ES. A par dessas considerações, essa pesquisa buscou responder às perguntas: a) Quais espécies, dentre as testadas, apresentaram maiores percentuais de sobrevivência e melhor se desenvolveram sobre Argissolos e Espodossolos degradados?; b) Há espécies que apresentam desenvolvimento independente da adubação de cobertura?; c) Há padrão de distribuição de sobrevivência e incremento em área basal dependente da distribuição espacial dessas espécies? Para tanto, realizou-se a escolha e implantação de dezessete espécies arbóreas nativas, que ocupam naturalmente diferentes posições na paisagem da região dos tabuleiros costeiros do estado do Espírito Santo. O plantio foi realizado na última semana de novembro do ano de 2012 em talude de APP fluvial e margens de nascente intermitente. As mudas foram distribuídas em linhas monoespecíficas, supondo a existência de pedoambientes distintos que pudessem determinar alguma influência no desenvolvimento dos indivíduos plantados. Este documento está estruturado em dois capítulos. No capítulo 1 consta a pesquisa envolvendo oito espécies arbóreas nativas plantadas em área de nascente intermitente constituída por dois tipos de solos - Argissolos e Espodossolos, condição gerada por materiais de origem distintos. Cada espécie possui distribuição ao longo de três linhas contínuas de 60 m, ocupando margens fisiograficamente simétricas e pedologicamente assimétricas. Já no capítulo 2, em uma das margens do rio intermitente formado pela nascente supracitada, foram plantadas quatorze espécies arbóreas nativas, cujo tratamento é baseado na aplicação ou não de adubação de cobertura. Estas espécies foram alocadas em blocos de seis linhas com 30 metros (m) de comprimento cada, três linhas receberam adubação de cobertura e nas outras três, este tratamento não foi aplicado. A estratégia permitiu analisar comportamentos díspares das espécies, atribuídos não somente às classes de solos e à adubação, como também ao gradiente de umidade presente nas rampas das pedossequências.Abstract: Forest recovery is essential action to mitigate damage caused by the degradation of vegetation and soil on margins of streams and springs. Gather the historic of the area, seeking to determine the type and how intense was the degradation, besides the type of soil in the area, are analyzes that going to determine the adoption of different methodologies that start from prepreparation of the area, planting until monitoring. Considering the degradation of river margins, enacted as Permanent Preservation Areas (APP) by Law No. 12,651 / 12, intermittent springs, and also their crucial roles in the regulation and maintenance of water processes, justifies the necessity of researches that approach a systemic vision pedologic - hidric - plant to recovery these environments. This work, which describes a subproject of "Projeto Biomas" of the Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária (Embrapa), shows results that assist in the selection and allocation of native tree species of Floresta Estacional Semidecidual - located in the biome Mata Atlântica, to recover forest in Argissolos and Spodosols of Formação Barreiras in Linhares / ES. In addition to these considerations, this research sought to answer the questions: a) What species, among the tested, showed higher rates of survival and better developed on degraded Argissolos and Spodosols ?; b) Are there species that have independent development of covering fertilization?; c) Is there survival and increased distribution pattern in basal area dependent on the spatial distribution of these species? Therefore, there was the choice and implementation of seventeen native species that occupy different positions naturally in the landscape of the region of the coastal plains of the state of Espirito Santo. Planting was carried out in the last week of November of 2012 in embankment river APP and intermittent rising margins. The seedlings were distributed in monospecific lines, assuming the existence of distinct pedoenvironment that could determine any influence on the development of the seedlings. This document is divided into two chapters. Chapter 1 contains the survey of eight native tree species planted in intermittent source area consists of two types of soil - Argissolos and Spodosols, condition generated by different source materials. Each species has distribution over three continuous lines of 60 m, occupying margins physiographically symmetrical and with pedologic asymmetry. In the chapter 2, one of the margins of the wadi formed by the aforementioned spring, fourteen native tree species were planted, whose treatment is based on the application or not of covering fertilization. These species were allocated in blocks of six lines with 30 meters (m) long each, three lines received cover fertilization and the other three, this treatment was not applied.
