Resumo: The internal environment of sheds for broiler was evaluated with three different toppings regions Benevides (BE) and American (AM), located in the metropolitan middle region of Belém, in the northeastern state of Para.'s Internal environment of the sheds was evaluated with based on Temperature Index Black Globe Humidity (BGT), the Temperature and Humidity Index (THI) Effective Temperature (ET) and Relative Humidity (RH), at intervals of two hours (from 8 AM till 18 hours) throughout the experimental period. The selected houses were classified as G1 (tile aluminum), G2 (clay tile) and G3 (tile asbestos cement). The BGT and TE showed significant differences (P <0.10) between treatments and between time of observation. The shed roof with tile ceramic showed lower values for BGT and TE. The values of RH and ITU showed no significant differences (P> 0.10) among the tested sheds. We conclude, based on the evaluated thermal indices, that sheds constructed with ceramic tile are more favorable to the creation of broilers, and that the time of day in which there is greater thermal load from the roof is 12: 40h.
