Resumo: This study aimed to evaluate the influence of different vermicompost on soil chemical properties and yield of lettuce (cv. Regina), grown in a greenhouse. The vermicomposting originated from the following materials: quail manure, cow manure, horse manure, pig manure, sheep manure, sludge-of-coffee and yerba mate. Were used as control treatments: mineral fertilizer and unfertilized control. The liming and mineral and organic fertilization obeyed recommendations for culture, elevando- the pH to 6.0 and adding the need for nitrogen. The results showed that the application of vermicompost to the soil, in general, increased pH. The sludge originated vermicomposts-of coffee and yerba mate increased levels of mineral N (NH: NO +, -). The P and K increased with application of vermicompost equine manure and sheep, while the materials originated from manure quail, pigs, sheep and horses increased the concentration of Ca, Mg, Mn and Zn, respectively. Lettuce yield increased with the application of vermicompost animal, highlighting the originated pig manure.

Universidade Federal Rural da Amazônia/UFRA2011-05-25info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://ajaes.ufra.edu.br/index.php/ajaes/article/view/239Amazonian Journal of Agricultural Sciences Journal of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences; Vol 48 No 1 (2007): RCA; 131 - 142Revista de Ciências Agrárias Amazonian Journal of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences; v. 48 n. 1 (2007): RCA; 131 - 1422177-87601517-591Xreponame:Revista de Ciências Agrárias (Belém.
