Resumo: ABSTRACT: Piauí Cerrado is being explored by producers regardless of the intrinsic characteristics of the soil and region. The aim of this study was to investigate the spatial variability of the chemical attributes of a Oxisol in two adjacent areas with conventional systems in Piauí Cerrado. The work was conducted in the city of Currais, PI, in two soybean production areas managed by conventional tillage. Soil samples were taken at a depth of 0-0.20 m, two meshes with regular interval of 200 m, a total of 100 points, each point was derived from eight subsamples. In each sample, the pH was measured, organic matter, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, hydrogen + aluminum and calculated the sum of bases, cation exchange capacity, the percentage of base saturation and aluminum. The use of descriptive analysis did not identify the two environments based on the majority of the chemical attributes. Cluster analysis identifies two distinct environments based on chemical properties. The identification of different environments enables the use of fertilizers in accordance with the needs of the crop. KEYWORDS: Soil variability, Fertilizer application

Universidade Federal Rural da Amazônia/UFRA2015-08-25info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://ajaes.ufra.edu.br/index.php/ajaes/article/view/1687Amazonian Journal of Agricultural Sciences Journal of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences; Vol 58 No 2 (2015): RCA; 217-227Revista de Ciências Agrárias Amazonian Journal of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences; v. 58 n. 2 (2015): RCA; 217-2272177-87601517-591Xreponame:Revista de Ciências Agrárias (Belém.
