Resumo: On analyzing the discussions conducted by Merleau-Ponty about the spatiality and motility of the body itself in the Phenomenology of Perception, the objective of this paper is to circumscribe the main philosophical consequences of the joint between spatiality and existence. Unveiling a expressivity and temporality dimension, the examination of motor function in a sick person can identify an absence that the healthy does not have, ie, a fragmented experience that characterizes the disease and motor disorders. That's where appears the idea of a “intentional arc”, which is nothing more than a mean of significative coordination between the various sectors of the experience.
