Resumo: This article analyzes the concept of “rules” from the conception of law presented by Herbert Hart in his work The Concept of law, showing how the rules of law differ from others types of rules such as those of morality, customary, and so on. We will do this through the distinction between the sense of obligation that the rules have, highlighting, at the same time, the normative aspect inherent in the legal rules.
