Resumo: This paper has the main goal, after a brief introduction, to present a complete translation into Portuguese verses of the Elegy 1, 3 by the Latin poet Tibullus, followed by notes and commentaries, so that the reader can appreciate the Tibullian poem taking into account, for that, the conditions for the production and circulation of poetry in Antiquity, particularly in the Hellenistic Period, when the intertext and allusion constituted a component of fundamental centrality for poetic practice, as well as for its reception.
