THE CONTRIBUTIONS OF THE CONCEPTS AND MODELS OF ORGANIZATIONAL NETWORKS IN THE RETAIL SECTOR – AN EXPLORATORY STUDY IN SMALL SUPERMARKETS IN THE STATE OF PARAÍBA

Resumo: As consequence of the process of capitalist restructuring, the rational-bureaucratic model of administration doesn't assist more the complexity of the existent relationships between organization and context. This way, the nets appear as one of the new organizational formats to assist to the expectations of a market with different demands, sharing resources, information and knowledge. In that scenery, appear the broker, intermediate agent in the construction of new business nets appears. This work intends to identify the advantages that the participant companies of a retail net of supermarkets can obtain associating to a net with a mark pattern that acts as a broker, presenting an exploratory study on the contributions of the concepts and models of organizational nets in the RedeSmart, in the state of Paraíba, that possesses this format of performance. The results demonstrate the advantages in that new way of performance, presented in three dimensions that were analyzed: 1) services offered by the broker to the associated retailers; 2) competitive capacity of the associated companies and; 3) aspects of the administration in the net. The conclusions of the work indicate the importance of the adoption of that new format for the retailers, presenting the advantages and the possibilities of earnings for the members that compose the net.

De ser así, las redes surgen como uno de los nuevos formatos organizacionales para atender a las expectativas de un mercado con diferentes demandas, compartiendo recursos, informaciones y conocimientos. En ese escenario, surge el broker, agente intermediario en la construcción de nuevas redes empresariales. Este trabajo se propone a identificar las ventajas que las empresas participantes de una red minorista de supermercados pueden obtener asociándosé a una red con una marca patrón que actúa como un broker, presentando un estudio exploratorio sobre las contribuciones de los conceptos y modelos de redes organizacionales en la Red Smart, en el estado de Paraíba, que posee este formato de actuación. Los resultados demuestran las ventajas de esa nueva forma de actuación, presentadas en tres dimensiones que fueron analizadas: 1) servicios ofrecidos por el broker a los minoristas asociados; 2) capacidad competitiva de las empresas asociadas y; 3) aspectos de la gestión en la red. Las conclusiones del trabajo indican la importancia de la adopción de ese nuevo formato para los minoristas, presentando las ventajas y las posibilidades de ganados para los miembros que componen la red.Como decorrência do processo de reestruturação capitalista, o modelo racional-burocrático de gestão não atende mais a complexidade das relações existentes entre organização e ambiente. Desta forma, as redes surgem como um dos novos formatos organizacionais para atender às expectativas de um mercado com diferentes demandas, compartilhando recursos, informações e conhecimentos. Nesse cenário, surge o broker, agente intermediário na construção de novas redes empresariais. Este trabalho se propõe a identificar as vantagens que as empresas participantes de uma rede varejista de supermercados podem obter associando-se a uma rede com uma marca padrão que atua como um broker, apresentando um estudo exploratório sobre as contribuições dos conceitos e modelos de redes organizacionais na Rede Smart, no estado da Paraíba, que possui este formato de atuação. Os resultados demonstram as vantagens dessa nova forma de atuação, apresentadas em três dimensões que foram analisadas: 1) serviços oferecidos pelo broker aos varejistas associados; 2) capacidade competitiva das empresas associadas e; 3) aspectos da gestão na rede.
