Resumo: The imaginary appear as important concept for the understanding of processes of organizations changes.  In this article, what it is considered is to identify and to argue imaginary the specific ones, constructed for professors, around the process of “curricular flexibilization”, in the administration course.  The study it was carried through in an Institution of Superior Education - (IES) Brazilian.  In the first chapter, a preliminary discussion of the theories was presented about the process of construction and reconstruction of the curricular proposals.  In the chapter second, theoretical -methodological proposal of the imaginary it was argued, approaching some theoretical positionings and signaling for the privilege of the social boarding.  Later, in the chapter third, it was presented research methodology.  It One is about a qualitative research, carried through a case study (Brazilian Institution of Superior Education).  In the posterior chapters, it were present and argued the results of the research and some considerations.  The evolution and the re-interpretation of the ideas had evidenced the necessity of new formation of a "new imaginary", around the new curricular proposals.  It was verified that the imaginary of the professors walks for the idea of a Real, concerning the curricular proposals, more dynamic, opened to the society and less on to the traditions, however, conscientious of its cultural, social and historical origins.  The studies of this nature can contribute as incentive for deepened research in that it refers to curricular changes and, on the other hand, can extend the understanding of processes of changes in the organizational scope.
