PARTNERSHIPS AND STRATEGIC ALLIANCES: CLASSIFICATION AND MANAGEMENT. A CASE STUDY IN A REGIONAL OFFICIAL PROGRAM

Resumo: | The Bank of Northeast launched the Enterprising Partnerships program in May 2000. Based upon literature on strategic alliances and partnerships, this paper aims at classifying the type of partnership applied to the case study based on ten theoretical typologies. The program is evaluated in the light of alliances management theory. The data collecting was carried out between January and March 2003, originating from debates supported by structured guidelines with the project participants, experienced practices, and secondary material. However, difficulties are verified in the case of the theoretical framing. The main inconsistencies are: a greater effort is made in the elaboration of the partnerships and the culture of fulfillment of partnerships by the institution and partners involved does not exist yet. |

Apoyado en la literatura de alianzas estratégicas y parcerias (sociedades), este trabajo procura clasificar el tipo de sociedad aplicado al estudio de caso, basado en diez tipologías teóricas y evalua el programa a la luz de teoría gerenciamiento de alianzas. Se trata de una investigación exploratoria y descritiva del tipo estudio de caso. La colecta de datos fue realizada de enero a marzo de 2003, proveniente de mesas redondas apoyadas en itinerario estructurado con los integrantes del proyecto, prácticas vivenciales, y material secundario. Se verifica que hay dificultad del caso en el encuadramiento teórico y que las principales inconsistencias son: el esfuerzo es mayor en la elaboración de las sociedades, y que todavía no existe la cultura del cumplimiento de las sociedades por la institución y socios envolvidos.O Banco do Nordeste lançou o programa Parcerias Empreendedoras em maio de 2000. Trata-se de uma pesquisa exploratória e descritiva do tipo estudo de caso. A coleta de dados foi realizada de janeiro a março de 2003, proveniente de mesas redondas apoiadas em roteiro estruturado com os integrantes do projeto, práticas vivenciais, e material secundário.
