METHODOLOGICAL IDEAS FROM STRATEGY AUTHORS AT ENANPADS: A META-ANALYSIS

Resumo: This work aims at a meta-analysis of the empirical or theoretical-empirical articles presented at ENANPADS from 1997 to 2002. The fact that 1997 was the first year with an exclusive organizational strategy studies area accounts for the selection of this specific period. The choice of ENANPAD articles as units of analysis is due to the importance of this event to Applied Social Sciences researchers, especially Administration, as well as to executives in search of a differential for their organizations. Moreover, the increasing projection of Strategy in Administration is noteworthy. The study is descriptive, giving a descriptive statistic treatment to collected (secondary) data, and having as units of analysis empirical or theoretical-empirical articles in the Organizational Strategy Area, presented at ENANPADS from 1997 to 2002. Abstracts, methodology, results and conclusions are the units of analysis.

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo hacer una meta-análisis de los trabajos empíricos o teórico-empíricos presentados en los ENANPADS desde 1997 hasta 2002. La elección de ese periodo específico se dio en función de que 1997 fue el primer año en que hubo un área exclusivamente dedicada al estudio de estrategia organizacional. La elección de artículos publicados en los ENANPADS como unidad de análisis ocurrió en función de la importancia de ese evento para los investigadores de las Ciencias Sociales Aplicadas, especialmente Administración, así como para ejecutivos que estén siempre en búsqueda de diferencial para sus organizaciones. Además, se nota la creciente proyección del tema Estrategia en la Administración. El estudio en tela es descriptivo, con tratamiento estadístico descriptivo de datos (secundarios) recolectados, cuya unidad de análisis son los artículos empíricos o teórico-empíricos del área de Estrategia en las Organizaciones, presentados en los ENANPADS desde 1997 hasta 2002. La unidad de observación son los resúmenes, la parte que trata de la metodología, los resultados y las conclusiones.
