Resumo: The text presents the notions of performance and value as categories which have consolidated themselves in the contemporary social imagination and which subjugate most human relationships, whether artistic, merchant, friendly, ethical or loving. It questions how the valuation process manifests itself through the notion of performance at the same time that performance has become a category and a tool for measuring value. Thus, the article questions the cyclical crises of neo-liberal capitalism under the effects of its excess, Greek hubris, as well as on the substance and form of value that are both subordinated to economic references and social behaviors supported by the paradigms of law. Finally the text explores whether going beyond the form - afformance or paraformance - it is possible to thwart the mechanisms of performance of the value.

Il questionne comment le processus de valorisation se manifeste à travers la notion de performance en même temps que la performance est devenue une catégorie et un outil de mesure de la valeur. Ainsi, l’article questionne les crises cycliques du capitalisme néolibéral sous les effets de sa démesure, l’hubris grecque, ainsi que la substance et la forme de la valeur qui sont à la fois subordonnées aux références économiques et aux comportements sociaux appuyés par les paradigmes du droit. Finalement le texte se demande si allant au delà de la forme – afformance ou paraformance - il est possible de déjouer les mécanismes de performance de la valeur.O texto apresenta as noções de performance e valor como categorias que se consolidaram no imaginário social contemporâneo e que subordinam a maioria das relações humanas, sejam elas artísticas, mercantis, de amizades, éticas ou amorosas. Questiona-se como o processo de valorização se manifesta através da noção de performance ao mesmo tempo que a performance se tornou uma categoria e uma ferramenta de medida do valor. Assim, o artigo questiona as crises cíclicas do capitalismo neoliberal sob os efeitos da sua desmedida, a hubris grega, e também questiona a substância e a forma do valor que são, ao mesmo tempo, subordinadas às referências econômicas e aos comportamentos sociais apoiados nos paradigmas do direito.
