Resumo: | The present paper attempts to compare the role of concept in classical and contemporary theatre. It is argued that after performing a representational function, concept has shifted to the theoretical output that underpins contemporary stage productions, previously and subsequently. Finally, by accepting that both language and concept are human dimensions too, we propose a point of view in which academic theoretical production is regarded as event and aesthetic experience. |

Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul2022-10-19info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionhttps://seer.ufrgs.br/index.php/presenca/article/view/25638Brazilian Journal on Presence Studies; Vol. 2 No. 1 (2012): jan./jun. 2012; 200-214Révue Brésilienne d'Études de la Présence; Vol. 2 No. 1 (2012): jan./jun. 2012; 200-214Révue Brésilienne d'Études de la Présence; Vol. 2 No 1 (2012): jan./jun. 2012; 200-214Revista Brasileira de Estudos da Presença; v. 2 n. 1 (2012): jan./jun. 2012; 200-2142237-2660reponame:Revista Brasileira de Estudos da Presençainstname:Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS)instacron:UFRGSspahttps://seer.ufrgs.br/index.php/presenca/article/view/25638/50169Copyright (c) 2022 Revista Brasileira de Estudos da Presençainfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessLoaiza, Luis Fernando2022-10-19T12:48:24Zoai:seer.ufrgs.br:article/25638Revistahttp://seer.ufrgs.br/presencaPUBhttps://seer.ufrgs.br/presenca/oai||rev.presenca@gmail.com2237-26602237-2660opendoar:2022-10-19T12:48:24Revista Brasileira de Estudos da Presença - Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS)false |
