Resumo: This work presents a discussion about sexual violence carved in Afro-Brazilian and Mozambican literature. From a dialogical perspective, the consonances and dissonances expressed in the short stories Duzu -Querença and A bride de Kebera, respectively inscribed in the works Olhos d'água, by Conceição Evaristo, and A Noiva de Kebera, by Aldino Muianga, are probed. with regard to the construction of the speech and the representation of the characters. The methodological procedures operated here are supported by the conceptions engendered in the works of Bakhtin and the Circle, by the studies developed by feminism, among other references brought to produce intelligibilities about the data. The assumptions that we built during the analysis of the selected works reveal that in the authorship of Conceição Evaristo and Aldino Muianga there are divergent perspectives of understanding and representation of violence against women. Such a situation implies writings with a very diffuse treatment and focus on the subject, however, all the statements observed exude, in their own way, a content highly committed to denouncing a solid social system that subordinates the feminine to the masculine.

Sonda-se, a partir da perspectiva dialógica, as consonâncias e as dissonâncias exaradas nos contos “Duzu-Querença” e “A noiva de Kebera”, respectivamente inscritos nas obras Olhos d’água, de Conceição Evaristo, e A Noiva de Kebera, de Aldino Muianga, no que diz respeito à edificação do discurso e à representação das personagens. Os procedimentos metodológicos aqui operados se amparam nas concepções engendradas nas obras de Bakhtin e o Círculo, pelos estudos desenvolvidos pelo feminismo, entre outros referenciais trazidos para produzir inteligibilidades sobre os dados. Os pressupostos que construímos durante as análises das obras selecionadas revelam que há na autoria de Conceição Evaristo e Aldino Muianga a existência de divergentes perspectivas de compreensão e de representação da violência contra as mulheres.
