Resumo: The purpose of this article is to perform a historic analysis of FUNDEB [Basic Education Maintenance and Development Fund] weighting factors by means of bibliographic analysis and documentary study. The weighting factors are the defining of value/student/year in each stage and modality. They were studied from the creation of the FUNDEB legislation, Law No. 11,494/2007 and Decree No. 6,253/2007, observing the changes made in the factors by means of the various normative norms of the Ministry of Education issued in the studied period, from 2007 to 2016.

They were studied from the creation of the FUNDEB legislation, Law No. 11,494/2007 and Decree No. 6,253/2007, observing the changes made in the factors by means of the various normative norms of the Ministry of Education issued in the studied period, from 2007 to 2016. O artigo tem por objetivo realizar uma análise histórica dos fatores de ponderação do Fundo de Manutenção e Desenvolvimento da Educação Básica e de Valorização dos Profissionais da Educação (FUNDEB). Utiliza-se como metodologia a análise bibliográfica e estudo documental. Os fatores de ponderação são os definidores do valor/aluno/ano em cada etapa e modalidade.
