Resumo: The year of 2011 witnessed a strong movement for change in the Middle Eastern region. The strategies adopted by Tunisia and Jordan to control the protests and the results such strategies achieved are the subject of this paper. It will study both countries’ history and political system to analyze the reasons why they employed similar strategies and reached different outcomes.
