Resumo: | This monograph had as the main motivation the perception of how the linguistic variety is presented in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language. We believe this is a problem that has come since the formation of the professors, and that it is an issue that comprehends far beyond the number of geolectal variations the Spanish Language has. This work especially dedicates to comment on the difficulties the undergraduate student of Spanish finds – both in the learning phase as well as in the teaching practice. We propose an approach which intends to join, to the current studies of dialectology, the systematic vision of the levels of organization of the language. We also address the perception of the pupil on the phenomena of linguistic variation and of how some of currently used didactic manuals in Brazil deal with this issue. The present work, therefore, is an attempt to display the panorama of the didactic treatment the thematic of the linguistic variety has been receiving in Brazil and to help value what this variety represents from the concepts that mix the levels of language organization and some concepts of the sociolinguistic. |

Partimos del principio de que este es un problema que viene desde la formación de los profesores, y que es una cuestión que aborda mucho más que simplemente la discusión sobre cuántas variedades tiene el español. Este trabajo se dedica especialmente a comentar las dificultades del alumno que pretende graduarse como profesor de español como lengua extranjera – tanto en su fase de aprendizaje como en su etapa de práctica docente. Proponemos un abordaje que pretende unir, a los actuales estudios de dialectología, la visión sistemática de los niveles de organización del lenguaje. Tratamos también de la percepción del alumno sobre los fenómenos de variación lingüística y de cómo algunos manuales didácticos actualmente usados en Brasil suelen trabajar didácticamente esta cuestión.
