Resumo: Camp de la Bota, an enclave located between the cities of Barcelona and Sant Adrià de Besòs, was a shantytown and the scene where Franco's dictatorship shot those condemned to death in the province between 1939 and 1952. With the recovery of democratic freedoms in Spain, only the associations formed by relatives of victims, political prisoners, former guerrilla fighters and other veteran combatants for the Republic, demanded some kind of marking before the unstoppable urban development (caused first by the Olympics and then by the construction of the Forum of Cultures) razed the place to the ground. In a space coveted by speculation and urban growth, the responses of the different administrations have been varied —from inaction to interventions motivated by the narrative of national reconciliation—, giving rise to a place of multi-layered memorial conflicts.

Con la recuperación de las libertades democráticas en España, sólo las asociaciones formadas por familiares de víctimas, expresos políticos, antiguos guerrilleros y otros veteranos combatientes por la República, reclamaron algún tipo de marcaje antes de que el imparable avance urbanístico (provocado por la Olimpiadas primero y la construcción del Fórum de las Culturas después) arrasase el lugar. En un espacio codiciado por la especulación y el crecimiento urbano, las respuestas de las diferentes administraciones han sido varias —desde la inacción a intervenciones motivadas por el relato de la reconciliación nacional—, originando un lugar de conflictos memoriales con distintas capas.O Camp de la Bota, um enclave localizado entre as cidades de Barcelona e Sant Adrià de Besòs, era uma favela e o cenário onde a ditadura de Franco matou a tiro os condenados à morte na província entre 1939 e 1952.
