Resumo: This work presents some reflections about the challenges of teaching development of elementary and high school education. The basic idea is to follow the different moments of these trajectory, beginning with the first courses in the 1930’s; the changes bringing the military regime with university reform and development of Postgraduate courses in Brazil; finally we analyse the beginning of professional master courses.
