Resumo: The use of the term “History Teaching” as an expression of a research area is observable in different contexts in the national academic field. In this article, we wish to reflect on the emergence and consolidation of what we call the area “History Teaching” within the “History Area”. Our interest is to demonstrate the emergence and growth of the use of the term inside Postgraduate in History courses in the last fifteen years. Based on the data and information from Postgraduate in History Programs available at Sucupira Platform, we carried out the survey and its systematization. We found that History Teaching is a research subject within Postgraduate in History courses, with identifiable characterisctics, objects and approaches.

Neste artigo desejamos refletir especificamente sobre a emergência e consolidação do que estamos chamando de 'Subárea do Ensino de História' no interior da 'Área de História.' Mais precisamente, nos interessa evidenciar o surgimento e crescimento do uso do termo Ensino de História no interior dos Programas de Pós-graduação avaliados pela Área de História da Capes nos últimos quinze anos. Tomando por base os dados e informações oferecidos pelos Programas de Pós-graduação em História na Plataforma Sucupira, realizamos levantamento e sistematização da ocorrência do tema do Ensino de História.
