Comic Transsexuality: autobiographical narrative in the stories of Sasha, a leoa de juba and Alice Pereir

Resumo: The article examines the graphic production of the comic artists Samie Carvalho, creator of Sasha, a leoa de juba, and Alice Pereira, author of the comics Pequenas Felicidades Trans. The proposal is to point out how such comics were used as an artistic tool to approach and break with stereotypes, taboos and stigmas about transsexuality. It is interesting to point out how, through the exposure of the subjective dilemmas and prejudices experienced and the construction of a self-representation, such narratives compete for space and legitimacy with the hegemonic narratives, while contributing to the formation of a critical and comprehensive thinking about the topics addressed
