Resumo: This article investigates how similar and how different the electoral courts are regarding the use of Twitter as a public communication tool. It analyzes the 28 profiles of electoral courts on Twitter and 2,047 tweets published in two weeks of 2020. Two methods are used: content analysis and multiple correspondence analysis. Tweets are classified into four types (Tweet; Retweet; Mention; and Reply) and six thematic categories (Dialogue; Public interest; Decisions, news and news check; Court sessions, events and commemorative dates; Institutional and personal promotion; and Others). The main result is the differences and similarities of the public communication strategies adopted by the bodies, a result that is based on a relational principle between the quantity of publications and the quality of public communication carried out on Twitter.

Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul2022-11-30info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionTextoapplication/pdfhttps://seer.ufrgs.br/index.php/intexto/article/view/12645610.19132/1807-8583202253.126456Intexto; No. 53 (2022); 126456Intexto; Núm. 53 (2022); 126456Intexto; No. 53 (2022); 126456Intexto; N. 53 (2022); 126456Intexto; n. 53 (2022); 1264561807-8583reponame:Intexto (Porto Alegre)instname:Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS)instacron:UFRGSporhttps://seer.ufrgs.br/index.php/intexto/article/view/126456/87077Copyright (c) 2022 Maurílio Luiz Hoffmann da Silva, Antônio José Pedroso Netohttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessSilva, Maurílio Luiz Hoffmann daPedroso Neto, Antônio José2023-10-11T14:33:26Zoai:seer.ufrgs.br:article/126456Revistahttp://seer.ufrgs.br/intextoONGhttp://seer.ufrgs.br/intexto/oai||intexto@ufrgs.br1807-85831807-8583opendoar:2023-10-11T14:33:26Intexto (Porto Alegre) - Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS)false
