Resumo: This study analysed how the discourses on territorial extension were engendered in television campaigns of pro and against fronts the creation of the States of Carajás and Tapajós in the plebiscite, in Pará, in 2011. The Free Time Electoral Propaganda occurred from November 11th to December 7th, totalizing 80 programs from 12 PM to 12:10 PM and from 7:30 PM to 19:40 PM. In this article, we consider 20 programs studied by the discourse analysis in the dialogic aspect of Mikhail Bakhtin and the competition for legitimacy and discredit speeches of Eliseo Verón. The analysis showed that the fronts of campaigns updated historical speeches about the reordering of territories in the Amazon. These voices debated the territorial unity and the restructuring of the region for development.

O Horário Gratuito de Propaganda Eleitoral ocorreu de 11 de novembro a 7 de dezembro daquele ano. Ao todo, 80 programas foram produzidos, veiculados  entre 12h e12h10 e entre 19h30 e 19h40. Neste estudo, trabalhamos com 20 programas, vistos a partir da análise do discurso na vertente dialógica de Mikhail Bakhtin e da disputa por legitimação e descredenciamento de discursos, de Eliseo Verón.
