Resumo: Interested in discussing the accidental textual topography of a newspaper, the article proposes an analysis of the journal Meia Hora de Notícias, nationally known for humorous tone and the peculiar use it makes of the verb-visual resources on their frontpages. In this paper, four editions of the newspaper are analyzed in a critical study of the many elements of its verbvisuality. In a first approximation, we can see the pages and sections within the journal are not necessarily built with the the same expressive resources. This generates an interesting inflection, because it exposes some fractures that could reveal various ‘newspapers’ in the ‘same paper’.

En este artículo, cuatro ediciones del periódico son analizadas en un estudio crítico de los diversos elementos de su verbo-visualidad. En una primera aproximación, podemos percibir que las páginas y secciones internas del diario no son construidas necesariamente a partir de los mismos recursos expresivos. Esto genera una inflexión interesante, ya que expone algunas fracturas que pueden revelar varios ‘periódicos’ dentro de un ‘mismo periódico’. Interessado em discutir a topografia acidentada que compõe a rede textual de um jornal, o artigo propõe uma análise do Meia Hora de Notícias, conhecido nacionalmente pelo tom humorístico e pela utilização peculiar que faz dos recursos verbo-visuais em suas capas. Neste artigo, quatro edições do periódico são analisadas com vistas a um estudo crítico dos diversos elementos de sua verbovisualidade. Numa primeira aproximação, percebe-se que nas páginas e seções internas do jornal não são lançados os mesmos recursos expressivos na construção daquelas narrativas.
